LinkedIn Thought Leadership in 2026: Threads, Carousels, and What AI Should Not Write

A format-first plan for operators and founders — cadence, POV, and where generative copy still needs a human fingerprint.

LinkedIn rewards return viewers more than one-hit impressions. A steady point of view plus proof-of-work in the feed — a chart, a customer quote you are allowed to share, a lesson from a real launch — outperforms generic "hot takes" that could apply to any industry.

The three-post loop

  1. Story: what happened, what you tried, the unexpected result
  2. Framework: 3–5 bullets a reader can save
  3. Invitation: a question that only your ICP can answer well

What to delegate to AI

Outlines, headline variants, and carousel slide copy from a rough outline. What to keep human: the specific number, the name-removed failure, the contrarian claim you are willing to defend in comments.

Carousels

Slide 1 is the entire thesis. Slides 2–4 prove it. Last slide: one action. If slide 1 needs footnotes, split into two posts.
